| In the process of coming together to find employment, we have discovered many similar experiences which link us together. We have all been healing from some accident, disease or disability. We are gathering our resources and are headed back to the world of work. What we have discovered is a parallel experience during our time of isolation. A need, a desire, and an ability to create something that (to us, at least) is expressive or artistic or perhaps functionally unique to ourselves. Many of us needed this outlet to bolster a self-worth which was at a low ebb. And many of us needed a diversion during times of pain, recuperation and limited access to our more active lives. We all feel that the process has been enlightening. We wish to share some of our thoughts, discoveries and creations with you. |
